James, Sjauna and the kids and I went to see Lincoln's Memorial after the WWII Memorial. Of course I never pick the right shoes for whatever we are doing. I wore platform sandals and by the time we were done my feet were so sore. Ugh! Will I ever learn. We had a wonderful time, though. And, since there are so many stairs there was a place to sit and rest with Evie and Owen before we climbed to the Temple of the Lincoln Memorial. We remember President Lincoln for his honesty, but mostly for his abolishment of slavery. Slavery would be characterized and making someone do something they don't want to do. Well, we see someone hasn't quite learned that lesson yet. But, eventually she gets it.
